Hard-fought efforts continue to wipe out blight, bring in “Resident Voices” around Shaker Square
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Various groups continue working from both sides of the tracks to eradicate the blight surrounding Shaker Square.
A foothold was gained earlier this year with the demolition of two abandoned apartment buildings on the corners of East 130th Street and Drexmore Road, across from the parking lot for Dave’s Market and the Shaker Square Cinemas.
